






Application Architect at the heart of the Nordic Green Transition

Nordic RCC is an important contributor to the green energy transition, supporting the Nordic transmission system operators in ensuring efficient and secure operations of the Nordic electricity power system.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the application strategy in Nordic RCC in coordination with system architects and relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to the application architecture standards, roadmaps, and exceptions in coordination with system architects
- Mentor developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and development practices
- Architecture principles, norms and standards to support the strategic roadmap and consistency of technology solutions across the Nordic RCC, in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders at application level
- Architecture modeling, documentation and repository as well as quality assurance at application level
- Enable a design driven development process together with business service owners
- Conduct peer reviews, help enforce standards, and optimize code. Also, help strengthen test focus
- Ensure frameworks and reference architectures are regularly updated to reflect business needs at the application level
Qualifications
- Min. 5-6 years of experience as a Solution/ Application Architect or similar role.
- Knowledge of /experiences with some the application integrations and architecture patterns and paradigms, such as Event driven Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture, Api Gateways pattern , Domian Driven Development, Behavior Driver Development, SOLID etc would be a plus
- Proficient in C#, .NET, Azure DevOps, Rancher, MongoDB, typescript
- Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code and test automation
- Master’s degree preferably with focus on computer science, engineering or other relevant fields such as information technology or software development.
