International Affairs Manager in the Heart of the Green Transition
Drive Nordic RCC’s international agenda and shape the collaboration between Nordic RCC and European stakeholders.
Do you enjoy navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, preparing decision‑critical materials, and turning regulatory developments into actionable insights?
In this role, you will be building Nordic RCC positions on evolving European topics, representing us in steering groups and workstreams, and ensuring internal experts are aligned behind clear, well‑argued recommendations. You will scan the horizon for trends, translate complexity into sharp management material, and help ensure Nordic RCC focuses on what matters next.
As our new International Affairs Manager, you will play a central role in coordinating Nordic RCC’s contributions to European working structures. You will ensure we are well‑prepared for meetings, that the right people are aligned in advance, and that outputs are captured and followed through.
You will work closely with colleagues across the company (Service Development, Operations, Data & Analytics, Legal, Finance, Regulatory Affairs) and external TSO experts. The job requires strong coordination skills, strategic understanding, and the ability to distill complexity into clear messages.
Nordic RCC – supporting security of supply and the green energy transition
Nordic Regional Coordination Centre (RCC) provides critical services and insights to support the national Transmission System Operators (TSOs) in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark — to ensure the efficient operation and use of the Nordic power system and high security of power supply at any time.
Based in Copenhagen, Nordic RCC is one of six RCCs in Europe, equally owned by the Nordic region's four electricity TSOs: Fingrid, Statnett, Svenska Kraftnät, and Energinet.
As European power systems integrate and evolve to meet climate goals, Nordic RCC provides regional coordination, integrated services, regional insights and recommendations to the Nordic TSOs and their control centres, to support cross-border operational security 24/7.
Join Nordic RCC, a fast-developing company determined to make a significant impact in the energy sector and to provide for a secure and efficient transition to the green, sustainable energy system.

- Coordinate all Nordic RCC involvement in ENTSO-E and across similar groups to ensure that input is always well aligned and efficiently shared.
- Communicate to the Nordic RCC organization about our international involvement. And to senior management and leadership forums around our international involvement.
- Work with the six RCCs across Europe in our coordination group RCC Working Table
- Work with legal, finance and regulatory affairs closely to review contracts, budgets and legislation from international affairs perspective.
Requirements:
- Experience from the energy sector, preferably with European cooperation, regulation or system operations. Minimum 5 years’ experience but longer is strongly preferred.
- No specific requirement on educational background except minimum master’s degree
- Strong coordination, prioritization and structuring skills
- Ability to work independently, keep momentum across many parallel processes, and communicate clearly
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working with many stakeholders and expert groups
The role will require travel abroad (within Europe) expectedly on monthly basis.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the listed requirements.
